WHAT YOU'LL DO

A permanent contract team-oriented role working for a number of executives within the Platinion Paris office. Reporting to the Executive Support Manager this position would suit a detail-driven individual with excellent technical skills and a willingness to take on anything thrown their way. This is a very organisational role and in an extremely fast-paced environment. Flexibility, enthusiasm the ability to hit the ground running and a ‘can-do’ attitude are essential, and above all a passion for doing it well !

The role is based in Paris but EAs regularly support management based in other Platinion office locations. It will be part of an international team so the individual will need to be willing and able to work across cultures supporting the overall growth of this business.

Describe an overview of the day-to-day role – areas that this individual will be working on

  • Extensive & intensive diary management
  • Arranging client and internal meetings
  • Acting as the point of contact between the executives and internal or external colleagues
  • Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Inbox management by request (dependant on stakeholders)
  • Organising domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Preparing and submitting time & expense reports
  • Maintaining & updating Partners' client contact information and biographies
  • Drafting and archiving correspondence
  • Attending team meetings as necessary
  • Cover for colleagues within immediate team and group as a whole
  • Organising large team dinners and events on a regular basis
  • Ad hoc duties as needed

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Working within a team but also able to work autonomously
  • Accustomed to juggling numerous high-ranking stakeholders and understanding complicated stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for proactively communicating schedule changes with relevant stakeholders
  • Adaptability to difficult situations often at short notice
  • Problem solving
  • Proactive and confident in managing expectations, as and when required
  • Commitment to get the job done, often without supervision
  • Discretion with confidential material and information
  • Professional communication style (both verbal and written) at all levels within BCG and with external clients ( in both French & English)
  • Attention to detail

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Previous Personal/Executive Assistant experience in the professional services sector
  • Excellent administrative & organisational skills
  • Highly computer-literate, including Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • A ‘can do’ attitude / flexible attitude to the role
  • Detail-driven
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage expectations and conflicting deadlines
  • Working within a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure calmly
  • Manage senior leadership expectations
  • Fluent French
  • High standard of English both spoken and written
  • Spanish and /or other languages are advantageous

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
