The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is primarily responsible for hotel facilities maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and lobby guest areas of the hotel; perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues quickly is a must. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of building maintenance experience recommended, with hotel experience preferred. Ability to use power tools safely Good communication and customer service skills Value and follow through on attention to detail Possess good math skills Resourcefulness to stay organized and independently on task Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift as well as push, pull, lift, carry moderate weight Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Hyatt colleagues work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards.
