Job Description: • Provide functional leadership for the Information Technology services that support the EMEA operation. • Act as a key liaison across all EMEA functional areas, Information Technology and outside vendors. • Develop working relationships with business leaders and develop a deep understanding of key business processes, strategies, and objectives. • Reports regularly back to business managers on the status of services and requests. • Establish EMEA Information Technology priorities that are both specific to Europe operations and incorporate NAMSA’s global directions. • Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introduction and withdrawals. • Collaborate with EMEA region leaders and other IT leaders to develop annual budgets for respective business areas. • Develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments needed specifically for EMEA operations. • Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed. • Identifies and leverages IT synergy potentials across countries and functions. • Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them effectively to coordinate team members and external resources. • Participate in the development of the IT annual operating plan and budget, and quarterly forecast updates. • Collaborate with Business Systems, Infrastructure and Operations, and Global Support teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards. • Drive development and adherence to standard best practices. • Contribute leadership to the successful implementation of projects delivered to the EMEA operation. • Manage suppliers and supplier agreements providing products and services contributing to the EMEA operations. • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all legacy IT systems supporting the EMEA operation. • Oversee systems development, enhancement and the integration of existing systems that support the EMEA operation. • Manage change requests and enhancements to the legacy IT systems supporting the European operation. • Manages user training for delivered systems and solutions. • Participate in defining and executing technical service and support approaches for the EMEA operation. • Continually focuses on opportunities to improve internal processes.
