Back To Openings Weapons Duty Officer Department: Federal Location: RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, SU START YOUR APPLICATION DESCRIPTION Decypher is seeking Weapons Duty Officercandidates to support theUS Air Forceat RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. This position support overall non-flying squadron duties to ensure smooth operations. Successful candidates for this position will possess the ability to quickly shift tasks and priorities, work with a diverse team, and have a thorough understanding of secure vault procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Weapons Officer and Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECO) with OFP tracking, readfile management, and other tasks. Work with Department of Mission Planning (DOMP) to ensure enough media is available and in full working order to execute daily flying and debrief as required. Work with Advanced Programs (AP) and DOMP to ensure all vault systems are updated as required. Maintain accountability of all aircraft media and classified material assigned to the unit while on duty. Format and load aircraft media as requested. Track all broken media and work with appropriate agencies to get broken media back to full working order in a timely manner. Develop security plans as required for TDYs and deployments coordinating with Advanced Programs (AP), MX, and PROJOs to ensure security processes are in place for deployment and TDY locations. Assemble media sign-out logs for each aircraft go. Ensure sign-out procedures are complied with IAW squadron Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Ensure all Pilots and Weapon System Operators (WSO) comply with weapons read file signoffs prior to issuing media. Execute Weapon Storage Vault (WSV) procedures IAW SOP. Download WSV onto computer systems as requested. Download weapons events and print employment sheets. Download Joint Anti-Air Model (JAAM) shots as requested by flight leads. Download low-fly NOTAM’s and Royal flight information and update as required. Upload low-fly flight plans into appropriate system to ensure deconfliction with other aircraft low-flying in the same low fly areas. Pass low-fly booking number to flight lead in person upon step or via Top 3 if required. Update changes to low-fly entry time as required based off aircraft delay. Ensure security of the vault and materials within are up to date and logged appropriately. Ensure the vault status is updated as required to reflect the personnel entering the vault. Coordinate with scheduling when most appropriate time is for uncleared personnel is to enter the vault. Maintain visitor Entry Access List. Work with security forces to update alarm access letters and perform alarm tests maintaining watch of vault during tests. Ensure incoming and outgoing personnel are trained appropriately on vault SOP’s and ensure security clearance requirements are covered. Brief personnel on security violations as required. Obtain required training to manage squadron security requirements. Ensure personnel provide proper paperwork required for line badges, security investigations, security re-investigations, SIPR tokens, and any other security requirement IAW with local procedures. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Intermediate level proficiency with use/application of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint) US Citizen; active Top Secret clearance DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Experience working in a CAF Squadron/Group/Wing office Experience working with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or similar proprietary scheduling program Experience working in a squadron-level or higher commanders, directors, and/or support staff WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
