Responsible for the set-up and tear-down processes of all event functions at Hyatt This position manages the Hyatt event space and works closely with the Events and Event Services departments to ensure exceptional guest service results Responsibilities also include the oversight, motivation and coaching of the Event Set-Up colleagues Organize the day-to-day operations of the department This position is very hands on and requires continuous walking, standing, and lifting of tables, chairs, and other event related equipment Promote an atmosphere that ensures strong guest satisfaction and colleague engagement Strong attention to detail and the ability to motivate and coach a team of 10 Maintain excellent communication and coordination with all hotel departments Qualifications Your EXPERIENCE: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel event setting or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Unafraid of guest service related tasks, projects and responsibilities Must possess excellent organization, interpersonal, time management, and administrative skills A fun and energized person with a creative mindset Committed to delivering a high level of customer service Our Values: Empathy | Integrity | Respect | Inclusion | Experimentation | Wellbeing Hyatt is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Are WE what YOU are looking for?
