+ Family Run Business , 27 days holiday in addition to 8 Bank Holiday, Temp to perm , £29,400 - £33,500 per annum – depending on experience Facilities Manager Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week (flexible) Flintshire Temp to perm 27 days holiday in addition to 8 Bank Holiday Family Run Business The Role of a Facilities Manager Our client is currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to join their team. Our client has been providing education to children and young people for over 70 years. They provide a safe and positive environment for young people to develop and have the opportunity for a better start in life. Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager • Ensure the grounds are well maintained and vehicles are safe for use. • Oversee internal facilities and maintenance staff as well as any contractors onsite. • Deal with day-to-day liaison of contractors - quoting and seeing the work through to completion whilst Health and Safety is a priority for all staff/residents and contractors. • Occasionally visit other homes to carry out or arrange any maintenance work or repair. • Admin such as communicating with colleagues or contractors via email and updating spreadsheets. The Candidate The successfully appointed Facilities Manager will have the following skills and abilities: • Experience of working in a similar facilities/maintenance role (2 years or more) • Confident understanding and knowledge of maintenance and repairs • An understanding of the basic principles of vehicle maintenance • The ability to use Microsoft packages. • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding • Willingness and ability to support and work co-operatively with other staff. • Must have a driving license and the ability to drive. The Package • Between £29,400 and £33,500 depending on experience • Hours of work 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch break • Use of company vehicle to travel around other sites when required. • 35 days annual leave To Apply This vacancy is advertised by Travail Employment Group who are acting as an Employment Business.
