Engineering, Development & Research · France Cergy Electronics Project Manager SW Electronics The Innovation Project Manager - Steering Wheels Electronics will be part of a team working on developing new concepts for electronics embedded in Steering Wheels. The PM will be responsible for identifying and selecting the best technical solutions for a given product (Performance/cost/quality…), then develop & validate the electronics according to Autoliv standards & processes, supported by a cross functional team (HW, SW, Mechanics, Systems, Purchasing, Safety, etc.) that he/she will have to coordinate and lead. Good level in English, excellent communication and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this role. The PM will also act as the design leader of the team, which implies animating & supporting the technical challenges and problems solving. The PM will also be an ambassador of its developing technology towards other Autoliv teams, external partners or customers when required. His/her main activities: Defines project development plan in agreement with the management. Identifies needs for resources to carry out projects (e.g. workload, expertise) Prioritizes and coordinates tasks assignment to his/her team resources Coordinates and animates the project cross functional team Supports the development of concepts to meet project targets in compliance with Autoliv standard processes and global objectives Supports the concept validation plan & execution Keeps track of the time schedule Produces himself or ensures team’s production of required deliverables and documentation Regularly reports project progress and risks assessment in formal internal reviews Prepares & presents project milestones Ensures proper project & product hand over to the next-product-lifecycle team We strive to save more lives and prevent serious injuries, and we continuously focus on quality, confidence and security for our customers, stability and growth for our shareholders and employees, as well as being sustainable and earning trust within our communities.
