ESCP Business School is committed to pedagogical innovation and digital transformation. In 2024-2025, the school successfully conducted a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) for integrating Artificial Intelligence into

teaching, research and administrative processes through a unique partnership with OpenAI. This PoC enabled the identification of concrete use cases, integration with ESCP’s tools, and the establishment of initial AI governance guidelines within the institution.

Following these promising developments, ESCP now aims to scale up these initiatives by structuring and generalising AI integration across its teaching and administrative services.

To support this transition, we are recruiting a Project Manager for AI Deployment, who will take over the project, expand the successful initiatives, and develop a long-term strategy for AI adoption throughout the school.

Mission

Reporting to the Academic Director, the AI Deployment Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the large-scale adoption of AI within the institution, in collaboration with faculty, researchers, and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building on the PoC results to structure a strategic AI integration roadmap.

• Ensuring a smooth transition from experimentation to full-scale implementation by embedding AI into pedagogical and administrative processes.

• Training and engaging stakeholders (faculty, researchers, students, support teams) to facilitate effective and responsible adoption.

• Overseeing AI governance and ethics, ensuring compliance with regulations and academic values.

Key responsabilities

1. Strategic Deployment & AI Governance

• Transform the PoC findings into a clear and actionable roadmap for AI adoption.

• Work with leadership to establish AI governance (policy frameworks, ethical guidelines, best practices).

• Coordinate key stakeholders (leadership, faculty, students, IT teams, technology partners such as OpenAI).

• Implement an evaluation framework to measure AI’s impact on teaching and student experience.

2. AI Integration into the Academic Ecosystem

• Support the full integration of AI tools into ESCP processes and academic practices.

• Develop and document concrete use cases, leveraging feedback from the PoC and faculty needs.

• Organise training sessions and workshops to ensure smooth adoption of AI in teaching.

3. Faculty & Student Engagement

• Work hand in hand with the Coordinator for ESCP Artificial Intelligence Initiatives to assist faculty in developing new pedagogical methods incorporating AI (AI tutors, automated grading, and personalised learning).

• Organise seminars and training sessions to educate the academic community on AI opportunities and challenges.

• Collaborate with students (through associations or ambassadors) to encourage responsible AI use.

4. Monitoring, Optimisation & Tech Watch

• Track key performance indicators to measure AI deployment effectiveness.

• Identify adoption barriers and propose adjustments to enhance engagement.

• Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking on AI developments in higher education to recommend relevant innovations.

Profile

Key Skills

• Project management: Experience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

• AI & education knowledge: Understanding of AI applications and challenges in higher education.

• Change management: Ability to train, educate, and mobilise academic teams.

• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to leverage data to adjust strategy and demonstrate project impact.

• Strong communication skills: Writing guides, facilitating workshops, and simplifying AI concepts for different audiences.

Experience & Education

• Master’s degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Project Management, Digital Transformation, Educational Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience in higher education, pedagogical innovation, or technological project management is highly valued.

• Experience with AI/EdTech deployment or change management would be a strong asset.
