To support our fast growth, we are looking for a team-oriented, energic and talented Solution Engineer to join our rapidly growing Solution Engineering Team in our offices at Bordeaux.
At Octopia, the Solution Engineering team is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company's technology infrastructure, and removing all technical and functional objections in the sales cycle. The Solution Engineering team leverage their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure, and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
As a key role into the organization, the Solution Engineering Director, will manage all the Solution Engineers of Octopia, across our different offices.
You will:
- Take the current organization and improve it to embrace a huge sale pipeline;
- Identify and create all the tools that you need to ensure the success of your team;
- Recruit Solution Engineers across our different offices;
- Create you team spirit and workflows with various teams across Octopia: Product, Solution Consulting, Tech…
- Build and structure all the demonstration process;
- Provide hands-on coaching, support and motivation to help your team meet and exceed their defined sales targets;
- Identify improvement in all areas of productivity, process and efficiency;
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position;
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.

Révélez votre talent
- 10+ years of experience in Tech/SaaS on Sales, PreSales, Solution Engineering positions ;
- E-commerce background (business and technical) and a Marketplace experience would be highly valued ;
- Prior experience as a manager of mid-size teams ;
- Customer oriented with highly professional communication skills. Previous customer facing experience is a must ;
- Uses effective sales techniques to uncover customer needs that can be addressed through Octopia’s solutions ;
- Highly business-drivenwith strong analytical thinking who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments ;
- Speaks English fluently – any additional language will be a great asset in a context of international expansion.
